This is our second offering from Dwight Aguilar Masias, an award winning producer we have been blessed to work with this past year. This coffee was sourced from our sister company, Vela Ethan. In line with our other limited release offerings, the cup is complex and well-balanced.

The fragrance is subtle, offering light floral notes and sugar-browning sweetness. Once water is poured, the aroma offers a bright, perfume-like note of jasmine. The first sip offers the sweetness of honey and clean floral notes. Once cooled, the cup maintains it's balance with the previous notes, but a slight dried fruit taste appears. The acidity is a low and rounded citrus similar to the pith of a lemon. The body is medium-thin reminiscent of a green tea. Grab a tin online or stop by the shop to give it a try!

Santa Teresa is recognized for its rich agricultural activity and natural beauty. The region has a temperate climate and fertile, mineral-rich soils that offers exceptional conditions for coffee production.

Dwight grew up among coffee farms and mountains, on the land that belonged to his father, Timoteo Aguilar, who obtained it during the Agrarian Reform of 1969. That period marked a deep transformation in Peru’s rural history, when the slogan “Land for those who work it” became a reality. Since then, that phrase has guided the daily efforts of Dwight and his family, who continue honoring his father’s legacy with hard work, dedication, and love for coffee.
