Costa Rica Eliomar
This year we have expanded our offerings from Costa Rica and are very excited to bring Eliomar Lopez into the fold of our Direct Trade relationships.
We wanted to highlight a different flavor profile, so we looked to our friend Ricardo Perez at the Helsar Mill located in the West Valley, a region we have never featured before. Ricardo pointed us to Eliomar Lopez, and the rest will go down in history.
Eliomar Lopez grows Caturra & Catuai coffee trees and then delivers his coffee cherries to Ricardo Perez for processing. Eliomar and Ricardo have decided to use a white honey process, leaving a very light level of mucilage on the bean during the drying process of the coffee which gives this coffee a nice boost of sweetness.
